You don't have to go to a rental counter, and you don't have to settle for whatever they have left. We deliver anywhere in Lexington — home, hotel, office or Blue Grass Airport — with three hours notice.
We're based in Frankfort, straight down US-60 and I-64. That makes Lexington and the whole of Fayette County comfortably inside our delivery area — and close enough that a change of plan on the day is a message rather than a problem.
It also means we're not a counter operation with fixed hours. If you land at Blue Grass at 10pm, or your own car goes into a body shop on a Tuesday morning, three hours notice is genuinely all we need.
Old Frankfort Pike, Paris Pike, the roads out toward Midway and Versailles — this is some of the best driving in the country, and it is wasted on a rental sedan. The Corvette and the Mustang both live twenty-eight miles from those roads.
Keeneland runs two meets a year and both of them empty Lexington of rental cars.
Those are the weekends when the counters at Blue Grass run dry and the prices stop making sense. They are also the weekends we get booked out first, so if your trip touches either meet, sort the vehicle before the hotel.
Worth knowing: Keeneland is dark Mondays and Tuesdays. If your dates are flexible, arriving on a dark day is noticeably easier for everything — traffic, parking and vehicle availability.
The Kentucky Oaks falls on Friday 30 April 2027 and the Derby on Saturday 1 May. Churchill Downs is in Louisville, but Lexington absorbs a great deal of the overflow — hotels fill, rentals disappear across the whole region, and people staying an hour out is normal rather than unusual. That week behaves differently from every other week of the year.
Most sports car rentals aren't about transport. If there's a reason — a fortieth, a proposal, a wedding exit, a surprise — that's what the Corvette gets booked for, and Lexington is where most of those calls come from.
University of Kentucky graduations, reunions, a full house of visiting relatives. The seven-seat Tahoe with four-wheel drive covers what two compact rentals otherwise would.
Anything at Rupp Arena or Kroger Field moves a lot of people into the city at once, and those are the evenings when getting a group into one vehicle is worth more than saving a few dollars on two small ones.
Lexington is a sensible base for the eastern half of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Woodford Reserve is out at Versailles, roughly fifteen minutes west. Buffalo Trace and Castle & Key are in and around Frankfort. Four Roses and Wild Turkey are down at Lawrenceburg. It's a driving route by definition, and the person driving it deserves something better than a compact.
