Frankfort & Franklin County, Kentucky
This is our home town. The cars are kept here, which makes Frankfort the fastest delivery we do — and the one where a change of plan on the day is genuinely no trouble.
Frankfort is a town of about 28,000 people and it does not have a rental counter worth the name. The nearest real depots are at Blue Grass Airport or out toward Louisville, which means the usual answer to “I need a car for a few days” involves someone driving you half an hour to go and collect one.
We are based here. The vehicles are kept here. Delivery to a Frankfort address is the shortest run we do, and there is no counter, no depot and no lift required.
This is the most common local call. A repair that ran long, an insurance claim, a body shop holding a vehicle for three weeks. If your only car is at the garage, arranging a lift to go and rent another one is exactly the problem you do not need. We bring it to the house.
Frankfort is the state capital, and there is a steady flow of people in town for the legislature, a state agency, a contract or a hearing. Sessions bring visitors who fly into Blue Grass or Louisville and then need a vehicle for a few days in town.
Buffalo Trace is here in Frankfort, Castle & Key is just outside it, and Woodford Reserve, Four Roses and Wild Turkey are all within half an hour. Frankfort is a sensible base for the whole eastern Bourbon Trail, and every bit of it is a driving trip.
Weddings at the Capitol or along the river, anniversaries, birthdays, a proposal. The Corvette and the Mustang get booked for those far more than for transport.
Relatives in for a holiday or a funeral who flew in without a car. The seven-seat Tahoe covers a household rather than two separate rentals.
